The Agape Community Church is one of the places of worship and gathering for Christians in the state of Negeri Sembilan. Located in the town of Seremban, the Agape Community Church has been around for more than 30 year snow.
Founded by Pastor Lawrence Koo in 1981, the Agape Community Church was then known as the Agape Gospel Assembly. The church then only had 3 couples who were equipped with faith and courage to serve the Lord. They started out to worship the Lord in Taman Tan Chee Hoe in a 2-storey house then and it did not take long for more members to join in.
In a short span of time, the Agape Gospel Assembly would need a larger space and the congregation moved to a corner house in Seremban Garden to accommodate the growing number of members. After that, it would move to Hotel Ria using its conference hall and then to Jalan Rahang before moving to the place formerly used by the Seremban Bowling Centre. Around this time, a second service and more support services were addd.
Later on in 1992, the church bought a land in Jalan Dato Muda Linggi and the Agape Community Church had a permanent place to hold its services. Today, the Agape Community Church has its own Agape Retreat Bungalow and the Agape Resource Center to cater to the needs of its members. The church would only get its current name in 2014 through its various ministries and groups to better serve the Lord and worship Him.
